This is especially important to me when looking at a series with very human characters who don’t have a designated “costume” or style 24/7: unique facial features. Noses, eyebrows, eye shape, jawline. They help “boring/simple” characters stand out from the crowd. Here’s my boys:

i think as an artist its important to understand what your trying to capture with your art! for me, expressions- things like eyes are what make an entire piece for myself. a lot of my characters have hairstyles that would cover over half of their eyes/eyebrows!

- her stripes can be random and she can have more of them to fit different body types/styles.
