+ Charming. Potentially fun combat mechanics.
- Potential ruined by unbelievably spongy enemies.

@WoodenPlankST Sakurai should put Kunio-kun in Smash Ultimate because he appeared a lot of Nintendo Consoles including the Famicom, He is just that popular in Japan
25 years ago today, both the original Suikoden and Tales of Phantasia were released in Japan, for the PlayStation and the Super Famicom. What a day! Both are the first entries in their respective series, and both are legendary RPGs. What are your favorite memories from both?

Fast and faithful conversion of the Konami original arcade.
I grew up with MSX version which is same as NES/Famicom so this feels very different (faster/crazier) but cool anyway

Other game artwork Hiroshi Kajiyama would include the Shining series, and Lady Landstalker, which came out only in Japan for Super Famicom. He also would do such for other games in systems like the PC-88. #RetroGaming

‘Romancing Saga 3′, originally released on the Super Famicom but got a remake on the Switch in 2019. This was the original box artwork from the game.
@BlueExplosion22 @NintenCano To give you an idea! Oh! And why not look her up to learn more? She originated in the Super Famicom (SNES) platform game of the same name! Titles would later appear on the PlayStation, then the 3DS, and THEN the Switch and PS4!
