Her concept outfits and the red gem on her forehead gives sort of an indian inspired influence on her design (similar to Knuckles and his jamaican influence) those were pretty much the main reasons for me.

Decided to add extra mushroom hats to this character design! Her hair changes with the hats and I sort of came up with the idea of her being a forager and the different hats help her gather items in different environments.

Her everyday hat is the Amanita.
