I re-designed my god character, the creator god. They can’t help but having favorites but has to keep themselves from interacting with the mortal world since when they do, things tend to go wrong. Also a huge crybaby. Cries over everything.

A lot of thought goes into the process of designing creatures for me. I tend to look up several real life references for how I want a creature to look and to make it feel like it could actually exist. This means looking at things like big cats, swamp/bog animals and more.

When it comes to my personal art i tend to genuinely wing stuff, i come to realize that is horribly detrimental to my consistency so ive been doing a fun activity of looking back at pieces that are just - wrong- and fixing them up. :> learning from mistakes is cool

I always start off with a pencil sketch & use different colors for face/body, hair, and clothes! It helps me a lot cause I tend to mix up lines :,)

Then I do lineart (my method is to get the eye shape w the base color before outlining it) then onto coloring!

I think the reason is otaku people tend to love vehicle. Train, car, motorcycle etc. Warplane and tank are one of it. Gundam is so too!😁
