Meme culture constantly surpasses its own peak condition of counter culture towards mainstream shit.

Quite honestly I'm glad to be on the correct side.

Boom's Disney-esque style ( from Bob Rafei ) and has been one of my main Sonic inspos since day one. So beautifully expressive & full of personality!

Richard Elson's got a great "mainstream comic book" take on the characters, & I've always loved X's clean linework https://t.co/WTgArZJ7p0

2. Bahsea! A lonesome blind unicorn girl whose voice and affinity for magic make her highly sought after. She is primarily based on early 2000s trance music like Oceanlab and early emergence of wicca/pagan beliefs as mainstream around the same time.

Wow i just realized I read tons of BL but the ones I really call my faves are titles I read as a teenager like:
- Gravitation & Boy’s Next Door.
All the popular mainstream ones are good but they always feel quite similar while reading. Except for Harada & Zariya Ranmaru Manga💕

A less mainstream indie rep but Madeline from Celeste is really popular and from a game that's both really popular and been tied with nintendo since launch. Tbh I think the recent DLC has just really stuck her in my brain lol. PLUS, she would be the first confirmed lgbt rep!!!!!

Artist: "Seen" ("Richie" Mirando), 1961; Museum of Street Art, Paris. The "Godfather of Graffiti," Seen started at age 11 and is known worldwide. But he thinks graffiti has gone mainstream & has "lost it's edge."
