So I tried a few new things in this one and i think it all came together pretty nicely
I pretty much:
-didn’t make the line art color black
-added a gradient to the shadows
-thickend the lines on the corners
-color the hair differently

Two more to add in the pile. Considerable improvement over the previous pieces, in my opinion. Thinner lines made a huge difference. I'm also trying to use sharper edges and corners. I think I'm aiming for a more comic like look. Some blend of manga and more traditional stuff.

Copic or Alcohol markers?

I prefer copic beacause it has a brush tip and it’s easier to get into the small corners and it’s easier to blend out. When I was using the alcohol markers, the colors didn’t really match or blend well.
