13. Typical drawing process

I'll use the previous one as an example.
a) I start with a sketch.
b) I add flat colours and maybe general indication of light and shadow, just to give me an idea on the composition.
c) MERGE EVERYTHING and start painting like a madman

During the day Evy presents her standard human appearance, in evening her appearance gains a pointed tail and glowing eyes. At night she is completely taken by the shadow, using the hood to hide herself only leaving her bright eyes and sharp theet visible.

I like to pretend I'm putting on makeup. Gradient brows, eyeshadow, cheekbone highlight, yas queen etc
Just use the ~butter blend~ to add color and blend it all out
I used airbrush set to overlay to add peach over her face very gently
Too much and she's neon

When drawing city maps, the chosen style for buildings makes a HUGE difference to how long it takes! Each one is a separate process step for EVERY building: 1 outline, 3 colour fill, 4 detail ink, 5 colour pickout, 6 highlight, 7 shadow, 8 texture.

Trying to improve my rendering process and I realized how much I was neglecting the overall form. I should be laying down general shadows and using selections to refine the shadow, not shade each muscle individually. VERY happy with how the newer one is coming together!!
