I really needed a creative break today. So I made a little digital with free stock images. It represents as I see it - neither a magical superpower, nor a devastating disease, but part of natural diversity.

I had a great time.

Don't know who needs to see this, but be mindful of autistic users and other disorders that impact behavior.

I hope you enjoy this story! I wrote Comfy as both a graduation thesis and an exploration of positive autism awareness :)

A message I would like to tell fellow autistic people: you are loved.💗

Autistic burnout can be brutal. When I hit burnout my brain shuts off. It's like hitting the power button on a computer when it overheats. Shutting everything off in order to let it cool down.

I think in pictures, so figuring out how to describe things can be really tough. Sometimes when I want someone to do something I'll just do it myself because it's easier than explaining it.

Vagueness is the bane of my existence. There's just too many variables as to what the person means, and I don't have the ability, nor the confidence to assume what they actually mean.
