Btw my Abigail art falls into a sort of series of not-really-Master-studies done in my digital style.
Dorian Gray sneaked into a Sargent, Ivo and Satinder (from & 's Shadowrunners) in a Leyendecker, and finally Abigail Thorn in a Charles E. Perugini

Joseph Christian Leyendecker appreciation post. (1874 - 1951)

Born in Germany in 1874, Leyendecker was considered one of the best illustrators of the 20th century.

The man in the 4th image is known as the Arrow Collar Man, most likely modelled after his boyfriend.

Ron Rodecker (Dragon Tales) didn't start drawing until a near-death experience at 47. He regretted having never pursued his love of art, so he started painting dragons.
It just goes to show you're never too old to start creating something amazing!

Rest in Peace Ron!
