My lines used to be so thin! My shading used to be mostly colour, but over time I leaned more towards using heavy line weight and crosshatching. These are from over a year ago

Thanks. They are procedurally generated. The contoured hatching uses the object coordinates and the wave texture. The terminator line uses the normals and the difference between two color ramps.

commit. pick a light source and make sure to completely black out all drop shadows. then just pull out some of your hatching from the total black. pull up some Will Eisner art on a different window for ideas and reference. drama drama drama!
