NC Wyeth is hands down my favorite old school painter. There's so much color and vibrance, even in the humdrum landscapes. These hills have such a variety of color, I just had to study it.

Here's the full version of my header art! I drew this a while back in March of last year as an attempt at doing some backgrounds. Usually I don't add backgrounds to my art, but I want to get more familiar with rendering landscapes.

I might go back and try to make something soon.

Mark has delivered another bumper crop of absolute mini gems, oil on wood blocks. Rather difficult to illustrate on social media, especially as some of them are 14x6cm tall, 40x9cm landscapes.
