Monday fun fact: despite rumors Nord can't ignore cold for long without his gear. Much longer than humans tho and many common aurin. His eyes are also not used to seeing in the dark but to ignoring bright light reflected from snow. This helps not to get blinded by flashlight.

We waited until it was safe to go on one of my favourite walks. Didn't think we'd manage this year. I'm so grateful. Beautiful autumn day yesterday: bee on devil's bit scabious, blue sky reflected in the water, calm loch (we saw fish jumping), Glas allt Shiel.
