I REALLY dug through the trenches for these LMAO...embarrassing but...we all get our start somewhere
It's important to remember art is a marathon, not a race. We all start somewhere, and that starting point is usually pretty embarrassing. And that's fine. I can't find much of my #mecha art past 2013 but not sure I'd want to anyway.

Trying not to pass away from embarrassment but I just wanted to show you guys that MY ART USED TO LOOK LIKE THIS OKAY 😭 Making cringey bad stuff is part of the journey!!
Anyways, I'm still cringey and edgy now too as you can see, so don't worry!! Just have fun!!!

This is gonna be embarrassing. I've had Phoe as a character for a long-ass time, and what better way to show how my style has developed. It's a lot of work, pain, doubt, and sometimes you don't notice improvements, but you keep going. 2011 > 2016 > 2019 > 2022
@oblivionsdream Embarrassed to say that I have a couple of WIPs that are literally almost done, like the first one I just have to render the hands and yet I keep forgetting about them 😭
The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Cartoonist by Adrian Tomine is a perfect memoir. At first it deceptively presents itself as simply being a journal of Tomine's most "embarrassing gaffes" (which is entertaining enough), but it *builds* to a remarkable and emotional conclusion.
