That's what I considered bc I was so fed up with trying to get the tilemap to work the way I wanted. You just have to cut up the image to handle sorting things like the rock spires. It even feels faster than creating tilesets, since I have gone through about 20 tile iterations.

Out of all the iterations of the Yellow Devil specifically in 2D Megaman Platformers, the Yellow Devil from Powered Up is the only one where you don't have to dodge his appearance on the scene. Since after forming for the first time he has a dialogue sequence.
