First painting I made when I moved to NYC. There are (still) a few areas I wanted to adjust but mostly this was a hair study. I hardly ever paint/draw in b&w. I wonder if anyone else can notice how my work has improved over the years. 🤍🖤

Was listening to this Doujin CD that had a guy who is literally sadboi with a guitar so I decided to draw what he prolly looks like because all I can see is him from the back. Also was testing out some lighting techniques so consider this a visual study.
