What do you mean?

The movie has an amazing display of Superman’s abilities and is arguably the strongest Superman has been portrayed in live-action.

Super powers are like the last issue with this movie. https://t.co/gBkclfI69E

The fate of the new DCU and Superman will also depend entirely on that first reaction of the global audiences when the designs or synopsis is released, along with the movie trailer. I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

That will ultimately depend on that first new DCU Superman movie trailer. I see the limitless potential with casting a younger actor possibly in their 20's portraying Superman and will still be in the prime of their acting career in 10-years. No recasting anytime soon, either.

I feel weird saying this but it's the truth: I drew my favorite Superman.

This suit only happened after DC comics briefly lost the rights to Superman's original costume design to the heirs of the creators of Superman. DC then created the 52 comic book line and changed his suit design. Eventually, they won the case and returned the original design.

It's most definitely possible that a future Superman film can make $1 billion dollars, if done correctly with a strong story and a fantastic antagonist. One who has never been on the big screen before, like Metallo, Brainiac, Silver Banshee, or even the introduction of Lobo.

I need the new to feel more like this. A younger confident badass who is living life to the fullest while discovering the world. Freelancing worldwide, studying humanity & then getting scouted by the Daily Planet for his merits outside of heroic activities etc. 👌🏽

That's good for you. Whatever makes you happy. I, on the other hand, will watch the new Superman films and will be waiting for news on the film and many others.

Casting a younger actor in their mid 20's or late 20's guarantees that James Gunn won't have to recast the role of Superman anytime soon. He wants to tell stories with characters and villains that we've never seen on the big screen. There's a global audience who will watch it.

Jorge Jimenez, easily. His Superman has consistently looks kind and like he has immense care for the world he lives in. There's almost a softness in the way he's drawn, an elegance, that I don't often see from Superman artists.

You are part of a small group of DC fans who keep calling what he's doing a rehash of Smallville when that is absolutely false. His Clark Kent is already Superman in the new DCU. You act as if it's a sin for him to give us an actor who will still be in his prime in 10 years.

i can’t pick a fav to save my life but both sean galloway and doc shaner are top favs for me. they evoke such soft and squishiness w/ superman and they’re both highly underrated.

You don't even know James Gunn's storyline or plot for his new Superman film, but you are already calling it a dud, which I suppose is your prerogative. I choose to stay positive. I know that we are finally going to get a new Superman villain who has not been on the big screen.
