A progenitor of slow cinema, Andrei Tarkovsky–born 1932–developed a theory of film that he called 'sculpting in time'. His films are characterised by metaphysical themes, extremely long takes, & images of exceptional beauty.

Andrei: Emperor of Novostroma. Russia inspired, a seeming cool and detached man capable of ruthless killing. Inside he’d much rather go with a more peaceful route but well... a fun fact is despite having ice magic and living in a winter land he’s terrible at ice skating

Carmen: Queen of Papele imperial wife of Andrei. Spain inspired, her country was in a bitter feud with Andrei’s which only ended with their recent marriage. She doesn’t love her husband at all, though they eventually become friends.

Went back and updated the Andrei/Kaden pic I did last November. I rushed a little then so I'm happy to get it how I wanted it now ❤️💙

Itri would be more Arabian desert theme, Steffano European knight, Andrei winter Russian royalty and Siegfried folk European. Siegfried I’m a bit less clear on direction wise but yeah!
