CAEL
A young man of a mysterious origin who watches over the roads across Narukami Island. In contrast of his warm and friendly semblance, he doesn’t take his duty lightly, and he won’t allow anyone to take away the tranquility of his surroundings

Un petit Haeri en colo 4fun
Plutôt cool, j'ai mis un peu de noir pour le contraste, mais il manque vraiment un truc à mes colo

Demigra's Dark King design being such a STARK contrast to the previous 2 is hilarious to me

i noticed smth abt art without lineart

basically, contrast and shadows are important

(i removed the lineart layer of one of my drawings as an example)

Cleaner lines help a lot in simpler drawings I cleaned up the arm as an example
The line art needs more contrast it blends in with the hair a bit
The skirt looked a bit detached from the torso
And adding filters to the colors can help them look better and less plain

here raphs color is red and mikeys is orange. the colors felt too mixed together and tied with their green skins i felt theyd look messy almost? So i used a blue underpaint to add in color contrast

Nobody asked but i wanted to talk about it a bit... when coloring im usually think of palettes, specyally formthe underpaint. So that i can make the piece be cohezie with harmony but still have enough hue contrast not to look muddy

Does this make sense ? 🧍

"But it's like I can be a poet, but then I also need to be able to express other things as well, other abstract things. It's what I love. I love the contrast, and I think that maybe a lot of other painters do too."

Pretty funny that i wore pretty badass cool clothes and he wore a pretty maid dress today so i drew the clothes we wore to point out the contrast \o/

I love how dreams are illustrated… good, bad, meaningful, or pointless… dreams always bring contrasting things together…

Side bar: if you wanna see a🔥 based on dreams👣👌🏾

For my sci-fi concept, I like to go for nonhumanoid designs with my aliens. As an ironic contrast to the humanoid androids.

Midnight Lover

In contrast to the dark 'Reputation', Taylor released 'Lover' to write a timeless song that would serve as a love letter to love itself 💗

This is unfinished but just like…look at just what a bit of extra contrast, shading, saturation and a few new items does to enhance things
