This year I was fortunate to spend time in Scandinavia & stay w/relatives in Sweden. I didn’t know until this year about the Yule goat, a pagan tradition similar to Santa Clause. Towns in Sweden put up a giant straw Yule goat and in one town arsonists burn him down.
