An Acrid Spitter Wyvern.
Small cat-sized wyverns, that hunt in packs. They latch onto their prey with their sharp claws, spit acid to damage the prey's face, eyes and other parts, detach and then follow it until it dies on its own.
They are also very curious and very loving. c:

Origins of Doom II Monsters: the Pain Elemental. The artists loved the Cacodemon - super easy to animate. So I came up with the idea of another cacodemon. I can't remember who thought up having it spit Lost Souls, but it's probably either me or John Romero.
