Since Moxie's not that interested at cars, I'll provide an answer myself because I do like vehicles. My favourite has to be the Honda Civic Type R EK9. Shit's got VTEC and goes roar when accelerating, and I love hearing engines roar.

In both Iron Tank and Jackal the last boss is a turret-ridden palace, after it's destroyed, a huge tank appears. In both games you play as vehicles, and both came out in 1988. Is this some kind of 80s trope I'm unaware of?
