I'm actually very inspired by baroque art talking about contrasts, I just love using strong lights and I think that's probably the most remarkable thing about my art. And also the lines!! I like to make my lines feel really strong and use really angular shapes in my lineart

Imaishi was definitely a fan of Gainax’s earlier work, evident by this illustration. Note the angularity, hard black outlines, and frenetic movement, which are all part and parcel of Imaishi’s style.

H. arifolia has triangular to ovate-sagittate leaves & a style w/ a sterile tip that's deeply 2-cleft. Var.arifolia has calyx lobes that are more spreading & is rare on the Cumberland Plateau whereas the calyx lobes of var. ruthii are more erect & it’s common throughout east TN.
