one of my fav visual elements was the sword fighters, i wanted to avoid the typical anti-tank obstacle battlefield imagery & landed on giant swords stabbed in the ground, and beacuse i was playing ace combat 7 at the time i made them fighter jets

It would be easy to say that The Bad Guys is style over substance, and to an extent that is true. The story and characters are fairly basic with few risks taken, but I find the animation and voice acting greatly accentuate these elements.

I enjoyed the hell out of this film...
