Some progress :) Same deal as level 1: 50% of the background tiles are fixed for the entire level and each screen uses 25% of them so I can alternate and have more unique tiles for the stage. Krusty impersonator has a single sprite overlay on the face.

So I was browsing the Spriters Resource when I came across a Russian bootleg NES game called "Balda" and in it is this funny looking... fish I guess? I don't know what they're is supposed to be...

Anyway something compelled me to draw them.

An unreleased unlicensed NES game? As uncommon as they may be, they do exists! Here's an evaluation sample of Street Hero, a (roughly) localised version of 장군의 아들 (Janggun-ui Adeul) sent by Daou Infosys to Innovation Tech around early 1993.
