The trick behind the thicker outlines is just having a copy of the animation layer but colored black and with the selection expanded a bit

Finished the sprite.

Trying to improve my lineart. I saw something about making lines thicker as they meet. Also I'm trying to detail Ember's hair more based on some recent commissions cause it looks really nice when it isn't just a few strokes. What do you guys think?

this was a relatively quick sketch - on a new kindof cardstock that is a BIT thicker. Washes show every brushstroke especially when things overlap. I'd need to get used to this. Very nice though I like it.
