The original localized title for Vampire Savior was going to be “Darkstalkers: Jedah’s Damnation” but for unknown reasons it went unused. So they just called it Vampire Savior in the arcade release, and Darkstalkers 3 in the home ports.
There is an unused orange snake-like enemy likely known as “Mander” seen in a screenshot found in the files of the game. There would’ve been different variants including bosses such as “Kingmander” and “Honemander” (Bone Mander).
