前作を一昨年のベスト1位に選ぶくらい好きなJulien Baker、今作も良い。アレンジは少し華やかに、歌声からは自信めいたものが感じられるようになったかな？憂いがかった叙情的な雰囲気と芯の強さはそのまま。感情の起伏を歌にのせるのが上手いから今回もやっぱりストレートに胸に刺さる。

痛々しいほど真っ直ぐで無防備なJulien Bakerの新作。もうとんでもなく素晴らしくて聴いた後しばらく呆然･･･。悲しいくらい剥き出しの声や歌詞、ピアノやギター中心の極シンプルなフォーク・ロック。圧倒的な美しさと何かを伝えようとする力がダイレクトに突き刺さってくる感じ。圧巻！
