Did an last week & started off simple. Tbh, the objective for me was to try and understand my likeness more in a semi-realistic style, rather than the clothing itself.
((It's a journey!))

Ha ha ha — here’s a new one for you ✨💚✨💚 — it’s a young as GREEN LANTERN. Such a perfect guy to play 1960s Hal Jordan. Hope you enjoy these comic book ‘likeness’ studies! I’m improving a little every day and I appreciate all of the support!!! ☮️👍PS13

Wanted to do more cell shaded practice :) which is the reason why its just a generic female, i dont want to have to think about doing the likeness, just working on the style.

this is going to be my jaya's immolating inferno alter. would still love to use references of community members (who are comfortable implicitly telling me they are a survivor by doing so) will not be using exact likenesses or identifying features. DM me if you want to contribute.

The challenge for me was to try and draw her from memory, while finding the best shapes and lines to better convey her likeness - did used reference in the end, to make for a better result.

So it's, like, Icon VS Artist edition?
I think I should have put a portrait of Tina (the one OC I'm cosplaying) for you to see our likeness - but I currently have Milo, so here we go.

here's a happy dream because he deserves to be happy, and a reminder that fanart is never accurate!! it means nothing to us whether or not our art imitates his likeness, only that he sees it and can feel loved 🧡

Finally, the best for last: Misa Uehara as Kasumi Shida, daughter of Hikaru Shida and the likeness of the titular Bride of Godzilla. A LOT of deliberation went into finding a likeness for this character and I was immediately stricken by Uehara's stoic gaze...and them eyebrows!

Faces and likenesses are a weakness of mine, plus I draw everyone at the same damn 3/4 view, but I'll do a tweet anyways:

Espresso is turning into himself! Well, a statue of himself, anyways. Easy to get a lifelike likeness when you go straight to the source!

I sorta finished these two pieces of and

Next I want to draw the new light-stick design >_>'...

(The likenesses aren't that close but these were more about trying a different process/style than usual. )

I just couldn't figure out what was making this sketch look so wrong. Not too happy with it but here it is anyway

The difference in my ability to create a likeness on a tablet vs on paper frustrates me so much some times

MASTER: Well, aren’t you going to say anything?

DOCTOR 5: I hate to tell you this, but it’s another appalling likeness.

MASTER: It is perfect.

DOCTOR 5: A perfect likeness, apart from the face. I prefer the real thing. Contact.

My WoL light warden, an elegant and very dangerous primal being that deals physical and magical destruction. The prized reward for downing such a foe? A griffin familiar in likeness of her image.

Nancy Green, (aka Aunt Jemima) was born into slavery. She was a magnificent cook. When she was 'freed' she rolled her talent that into a cooking brand that GM bought & used her likeness. She died in 1923 as one of America's first black millionaires. https://t.co/wrjL5lcM2N
