I read a lot of Mangas ( like.. a lot) and if there are a few I'd recommend lately, Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura is certainly on the top list. Great art, great story and great great characters. The pacing is also really enjoyable.( Warning, lots of graphic violence too ).

I don’t like looking back on my own work so much, but I’m always really happy to see how much better of a Letterer I am then when I started making comics. The tails, the bubble shape, spacing - I dunno, it looks a lot better to me.

Read an early copy of SERA AND THE ROYAL STARS I could look for smart words to say but this book kicked my ass. Every page was astonishing. The pacing was brilliant. Badass, exciting and a FUN read. Great work

More stuff! I always start with thumbs first to manage pacing and layout. Vertical scrolling takes lots of planning 😭 Thank god for editors too. Then it goes pencils>flats>blends>gradients and local lighting>global lighting>Extra modeling and post process effects.
