@mausuya As much as I love my own art styles, I would love to replicate the bravely/octopath/triangle strategy art styles for fanart. I think that they're very original and I'd love to be able to figure out how to draw that style some day.

@tsahilgnhimi basically if u want a palette that replicates a realistic feeling but doesnt actually use realistic colours ur best bet is to have two main shades and then exclusively use the transitional colours when shading and if u want to introduce a tertiary colour u mix it out with the ogs

Colours are of course easier to add, as well as wide brushes of various kinds that pencils simply cannot replicate.

But simple lines and shadows, that can be done with a pencil intuitively within seconds look much flatter or shaky by default.

Ill get used to this eventually.
