Two tips on improving your art 🎨
1- Don't be afraid of asking for help. Pic 1 is how I started. Then I asked my friend for help, she told me to draw a mesh on the characters to think about their volumes (pic 2) and pic 3 is how I redrew the shadows.

Today I did a little study.

The overall design wasn't important. I just wanted to improve in some areas.
While I kept the thickness of the outlines constant, I broke the rule in "form-giving" places.
Also I used a more atmospheric hue for the shadows. (I made them blue lol)
