Man it's hard to pin down the best manga art style...a lot are pretty amazing. But I'll throw Haruko Ichikawa's series Land of the Lustrous. This series (especially when it's colored) is jaw dropping beautiful.

Beastlys was REALLY difficult to make Diddy, the Smash Ball, and everything else blend together smoothly while matching the original albums style. I didnt end up matching it, but it's got a special look all it's own. Definitely a toughie tho.
