Trying to improve my lineart. I saw something about making lines thicker as they meet. Also I'm trying to detail Ember's hair more based on some recent commissions cause it looks really nice when it isn't just a few strokes. What do you guys think?

this was a relatively quick sketch - on a new kindof cardstock that is a BIT thicker. Washes show every brushstroke especially when things overlap. I'd need to get used to this. Very nice though I like it.

We're coming up on one year of Murphy and Mitzi, and I was curious at how they've changed along the way.
Murphy got a little darker, and Mitzi got a different haircut.
My lines also got a little cleaner, thicker, and more consistent. Who knows if they'll change more before May.

im just observing and comparing older stuff and i think since i realised popular art styles seem to mostly be soft/rounded thats when i started making my art a lot more harsh and spiky. and also that anime art often has thin lines and mines got thicker.
