Softened out the lighting on the skin and darkening the piece to emphasise the harsh light! Should have it finished tomorrow :D

Day 4 of daily referenced art practice. Portraits until the end of September and then switching over to landscapes.

Tomorrow I'll darken the piece and focus on using a little bit of light to make certain colours pop.

Focusing on making Lucy look different to Alice this time.
In the comic they looked pretty much the same except hair styles.
I want to change that.

I'm challenging myself to create more artwork with backgrounds/environments, kinda wanna try doing a 365 project but I think you have to be a little more organized for that sort of thing😂😭
