Lightly airbrushed on my basetones, colored the linework to make rendering smooth and went ham on an overpaint layer. made sure to focus on keeping the shapes nice and gnarly (especially the teeth) :)

The scan of the 1989 teaser poster...wasn't great. Colors were faded, and the blacks were streaky. Thankfully, all the lovingly airbrushed detail was there. I just needed to adjust/correct the color and contrast so the Bat-symbol popped.
