@ArttyChan Not too much inspiration to draw here it's just a suit after all. I did try to balance the asymmetry by having the rose on the left while my horn and tail are on the right.
I also keep my suit in shades of purple to match the horn and it compliments the green skin tone.
Evidence it’s not a stylistic choice: here we can see 3 uses of the design, and only mumbo’s is missing the line in the middle. My theory is he hates asymmetry bc the tie is different too
I played with symmetry/asymmetry, I think it suits pretty well to a vegetal goddess.

Maid Dragon has always been very bouncy but I like how its not done carelessly and there's often a fine detail to enjoy it. There's a simple dropping at the beginning but the left breast falls first making them bump into each other, this gives a more interesting asymmetry feeling

I'm still debating with the band around her leg I just wanted some more asymmetry in the design.
@GailSimone Yes, the cape, shoulder pad, and leather strap count as asymmetry. Asymmetry creates flow within the shapes and little areas of interest. I think Gail's issue is the amount of asymmetry. Too much and the flow is confusing, and the costume looks busy with no place to rest the eye

My fave thing abt the TF2 art/model style is the fact that it embraces imperfection and asymmetry. It's rare when you get a front view of the mercs in the comics, and even when you do, it isn't a perfect front on view! Same with the models, even when head on, there's imbalances!

@LiuliVT Asymmetry is a big aesthetic weakpoint of mine, so something like having earrings on only one ear would be where I'd go with it.
While my ponytail could go to either side of my head, my earing and scare mean there's always a weight on one side
Tonight's pwogwess. I wanted to try and put more elements of the splash's hair, but the helmet-y floofiness of the in-game model reads a lot more as Elementalist Lux. Will try to slide in some asymmetry later.
