What Pokémon would you choose for Ash's father?

I thought a lot, scrolling through the entire Pokédex, and I think I would choose Jolteon. And while it doesn't sound too creative, it actually makes sense, so hear me out (explanations below). ↓

Modern/Stylized. Their outfits are mostly casual clothing with traces of relevant armor/equipment.

Even the ones that go full vigilante don't wear spandex, it's more likely an outfit they can fight effectively in.
