The tragedy at Kyoto Animation made me alter a gag in the movie. Originally, the Battle Bus and Dropship were going to be in flames (done in After Effects) after crashing, but dedicating the film to KyoAni while also having a dying man in flames beg for life felt inappropriate.

The Phantom and Banshee are really amazing visual overhauls, in terms of highlighting traditional Sangheili design theory. I absolutely love the Spirit dropship in Halo 5, as I feel like it is the best example of translating a classic design and adding something unique to it.

The dropship is what you use to get between levels but once you are in the level you will still be able to fly it and it can be ordered to serve as a support unit (call in missile strikes from it etc). I'm thinking there likely will be a hub world/base too.
