How many WIPs do you work on at once?

Right now, I’m working on two stories, THE UNCRUCIFIED and SONG OF EXILE. Both have a similar aesthetic thread running through them, with SoE being my original Fantasy brainchild that I’ve been poking at for years.

Fun Fact: The series I'm currently writing, The Mage War Chronicles, is set in the same world as The Caein Legacy, but 1000 years earlier.

Favorite mythical creature?

Gryphon (griffin). Across all of Tremjara they're only found in the A-Mlu Thros (Soaring Mountains). Only the Forstava ora'ean can tame them as mounts. They've a huge roll in Book2.

Kalara looks to the phoenix for inspiration. It rises from its own demise, much as she has returned from her own near-execution. The phoenix is also part of her anima aura, which flares when she fully unveils her divine powers.
