made three back to back, and this, the middle one, I found to be his weakest. I didn't much like the script or the annoying characters, but it's nice to see we have our own classics right here in Britain.

Film for for today is David MacDonald’s Good Time Girl (1948) on , 7:30pm. This is a no holds barred British which most certainly should be celebrated more. Screening this and Brighton Rock (1948) together would make a fantastic double-bill.
