Final @folktaleweek illustration today✨ a fun week of drawing! #folktaleweek2021
#FolkTaleWeek2021 final day is #sky, and this one is full of star.
Camera refuses to portray the full majesty of the shimmery, iridescent paints I've been using. I like her enough that I might try to do a traditional type of watercolor of this, though.

Day 7 SKY
It’s the last day of this year’s folktale week and so I thought I’d give my three little rabbits a bit of sparkle!
Thank you @folktaleweek for a fab week of prompts!!

For #folktaleweek2021 I was inspired to illustrate a scene from "The Gigantic Turnip" story, a Russian folktale written by Aleksei Tolstoy. I especially enjoy the theme of #teamwork and how there's value in even the smallest among us 🐭

On a night when anything could happen be careful what you wish for.
Roxy and Rowan may not have got what they asked for and could no longer dance together as they once had. But don’t be sad for our two cat friends, … https://t.co/GWKJC1OgdJ

MacLeod and the Faerie were happy for one year and one day. They enjoyed every day they had because they knew their days were numbered...If humans learned once and for all their days are numbered too...This is their last hug🦋#kidlit #folktaleweek2021 #folktaleweek #scotland

Shared for today's #folktaleweek prompt - RIVER.
In the painting, a woman hands out wings from her little hut to all comers, who arrive up the river by goat-towed boat. One, just given new wings, is launching himself into the sky...

Still giggling they turned to the other cat, what was his wish again? Something about fish, they remembered. So, in haste, they gave Rowan shiny scaly tail. Down he slid into the river, as sunlight chased… https://t.co/BI32CFto4h
