First time digitalizing these little critters! They hunt at night, luring in insects with their glowing antennae which they also use for communication and attracting mates. The spikes on their backs emit a strong neurotoxin that fends off birds of prey!

Like, I know we haven't seen a lot of Sonic insects, but if we look at how they're handled... You just take the basic 30s character design and stick a couple bug elements on, and you have a bug. Just like how they were handled in classic cartoons
