Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith: George Lucas worked with Iain McCaig and Derek Thompson to simplify the opening sequence down to the opening crawl and then jumps straight into the chaos of the space battle. These thumbnails were drawn as storyboards, then previz, then shot.

STAR WARS FACTS: Ki-Adi-Mundi was designed by artistic director and concept designer Iain McCaig for The Phantom Menace (1999). McCaig experimented by drawing some unusual parodies of the elderly Obi-Wan Kenobi, including one with an elongated head. #StarWars
