As I've said in an earlier thread, Corben does not over-render his figures. The intense colour is deceptive. The light areas in his paintings are typically more subdued than one might think. Convert the new cover to greyscale, and subtle modelling of the forms becomes obvious.

I've always been curious about our creators. We're modelled on their design. Their artefacts and dwellings abound.
But researching them is dangerous. Only #Top Levels are cleared to read history archives. Anyone else caught snooping gets wiped.

(7/9) -Took a lot of inspiration & reference photos in rural Japan, trying to get pictures of fog & old run-down towns as reference.
-Environments were made w/a mix of photogrammetry data, hand crafted modelling, & UE4 tools.
-Two big themes of the trailer & SHf is "Fog" &
Setting up all of the 3D sketches for the surface 'scratches' on the #Stargate Staff weapon. From this I will use the sketches to create surfaces that I will thicken and then subtract from the handle to create the scratches. #3DModel #3dmodelling
