In the CL int, Mr Alliel mentions Moebius as one of his inspirations. I had not heard of him before so I looked him up. I found that Moebius did a famous comic with the the Mexican film director Jodorowsky.

The amount of ignorance is painful. So much so that I have to believe Malin was confusing Moebius with another artist. If Malin wants more hatching detail, Moebius has plenty of that but if that's his standard then he's too dumb to understand why sometimes less is more.
