Because I am a purist of a painter, I don't like the words or the page numbers to mess with my art. Yet, I don't like books without words. To compromise, I paint the scene that I want, but I allow the watercolor to fade for words.

I've undertaken the task of learning to create characters in Adobe Illustrator. When I was in art school, only the government spies had computers. lol I made this goldfish on day 3 of my journey.

I rest for a while, and then, I garden. If I need to learn something new [like Adobe Illustrator}, I work on that. When I get back into a work mode [doing something else], I can get back on track.

I also paint and teach painting. People are afraid that they will ruin their piece by editing. I say: "Ruin What?" If it isn't working, you actually have nothing to ruin. If it doesn't work, slice the thing into pieces. Nothing to lose.
