I really really really like how Fox Engine games look (in the hands of KojiPro--RIP). It's more about cinematic realism than literal photorealism. The end result is closer to a Ryuichi Kutsuzawa drawing than real life and that's way preferable for me!

Here is a great example of Realism vs Photorealism you can see the difference, if you can't let me explain: the two on top is trying to capture the actual struggles of the poor while the other two are just trying to recreate a photo image.
