Im also one of those artists that knows traditional mediums. I just do it for personal or gift art only. I even dabble in making my own pigments for watercolor or acrylic painting. (The pink in the first image's dress is a pink I made using mica powders.)

La peinture pas assez couvrante, ça vient à la fois de la compo de la peinture (je connais pas les propriétés de la peinture pour figurines, mais si y'a pas assez de pigments...) et de la résultante jaune+ce qu'il y a dessous. Le jaune se désature assez vite je crois.

The green pigments seem to have faded right across the artwork, so we're pretty certain that's a depiction of plum-headed parakeet (Himalayapsitta cyanocephala).
