I've been getting a bit tired of huge, save-the-world plots in MCU films and went in expecting the same, but still wanted to see it because I like the MCU.
This was different and intimate. And Sam Raimi's style was perfect for it!
Gotta get this off my chest
I absolutely can't stand seeing classic comic styled Spider-Man with the Raimi spider logo on the chest. Its large, sharp, angular, and complex, and feels really out of place on a less intricate suit design.
