90% sure Metal/the Chaotix are gonna be introduced in the Knuckles show, but I feel like overall it's gonna be an interpretation of SA1.

I don't see it brought up at ALL how much SA1, and the premise of it's story is primarily focused on KNUCKLES and the history of his ancestors

It is a day created by the fans of OPM.
The "3" can be read as "sa," the "1" can be read as "i," and the "0" looks like the shape of a ball.
The ball is called "tama" in Japanese.
That is why it is Sa1tama Day.

i was never able to beat this game as a kid but i spent hours upon hours in the chao gardens which were far superior to the gardens in sa1. the soundtrack also slaps but not as much as sa1

But it isn't from Adventure. That art was made for Advance. Adventure's art was a lot more loose and lanky and curvy and lacked those shadows. Advance's art style is a refined version of the SA1/SA2 style.

These are my version of Sonic’s shoes. I was inspired by the shape of Sora’s shoes from Kingdom Hearts because of their western look. I combined that with the soap shoes and light sped dash shoes from SA1 to get these big doofy things.

I haven't drawn my own Sonic design in a hot second, but his shoes are a fusion between the SA1 Light Speed Shoes, the PUMA shoes, and my own thing. I do like messing with the design from time to time though! (second image)
